In the Broadway musical “Rent,” there is this great lyric: “In five hundred twenty-five thousand six hundred minutes — how do you measure a year in the life?” It has always stuck with me. Why? Every single one of us has a finite time here on earth. How you spend it can either be magical or meaningless. You can love what you do for most of your days — or wallow in misery. We all have that choice. Ending the old “I do not have time for that” problem is, therefore, much easier than you think.Originally published November 3, 2016
