One of my attorney-clients told me her mentor taught her to begin the new year by revisiting her retainer agreement and reading the evidence code cover to cover. Those are great ideas. But if the first weeks of 2017 got away from you — maybe you were busy with winter vacation, a big court case, hitting your new gym — spring is also a great time to clean up your practice.
