Have you ever spent hours fine-tuning a Word document to ensure a consistent “look and feel” throughout? If so, I suspect you don’t want to do that again. You especially don’t want to repeat the experience when someone asks you to change the fonts and spacing throughout after you’re done. If you still spend hours formatting documents, you probably need to learn how to use Word styles.
